Window Renovation - Verified Review

▪ Our hall window, 100 years old with stained glass had to be modified because of building work we had done. Richard did a very detailed and careful job of removing and replacing the stained glass. He also had to source and add extra architrave and make good any other woodwork. The window looks like the original, although it has been reduced by a third. We were very keen to keep the original window and Richard’s expertise enabled us to do this.

▪ Richard was the first to respond to my job. he communicated really well throughout and quoted me a fair price. He worked really hard to get all internal doors fitted over two days. really pleased with his work, he took time and respected my property. He kept me in the loop throughout. ▪ I contacted Richard after reviewing feedback on Checkatrade. From our initial contact he has been great, firstly he answered my call for help, which many other trades people didnt! His level of communication has been fantastic, he has turned up when he has said he would and his workmanship has been fantastic! He explained everything to me, what he was doing and why. He quoted me a more than agreeable amount and I felt for the work he put in he earned every penny! 5 star guy! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him or his work to anyone looking for help with windows or door issues.

Repairs of fire door - Verified Review

▪ Richard was the only person to contact myself after trying to find someone to perform the repairs. He doesn't time to look at the project and advised me. His knowledge on fire doors is second to none and was able to rectify the door to applicable standards. For the work given it was extremely reasonable. Richard is a stand up guy and his professionalism is second to none.

▪ Great communication with Richard, he was the only person (out of 4) who came out in person to look at the jobs I required doing to give me a quote. I'm really pleased with the service and workmanship. All of the jobs were on the 3rd floor so required scaffolding, so not easy work. Very reasonable cost too. I would not hesitate to recommend to my friends and family.
